REMOTE HOME SURVEY

As the name suggests, with this package, the survey is conducted remotely.  Eco Advisor produce full calculations and a report for your property, based on the completion of a simple DIY survey form of your property as well as completion of the required photos.  We will then have a telephone call with yourselves to answer any queries that we may have and to fully understand the buildings usage.  We will review the heat losses through the fabric, reviewing the current heating systems and heat emitters as well as the buildings electrical system and any existing renewable technologies. We will review and discuss buildings usage and energy bills- Advise on managing utilities, smart grid and electrical and thermal energy storage as well as best tariffs for your usage.
Once the survey is conducted we run calculations on your property to review impact of improvements to the buildings fabric and to review the impact of installing different renewable energy sources to your property.
We will then provide recommendations based on your budget of what will save the most money and provide the best paybacks and provide detailed calculations to show what the expected payback period should be. The ultimate goal is bringing your house to as close to being passive as is possible.
We will advise on available grants, feed in tariffs and renewable heat incentives.
We provide guidance on how to manage your house so as to keep building energy usage down.
Along with our calculations, report and recommendations we also provide guidance packs for any equipment or insulation that we recommend. This outlines how systems work and how to compare different manufacturers products and guidance on what it should cost. We are entirely independent and do not sell or recommend any manufacurers.  We can appraise manufacturer/ installer proposals at extra cost.
